Orange has unveiled the first Android-smartphone Santa Clara-based Intel Medfield

European mobile operator Orange has announced the first Android-smartphone that will run on a platform Medfield by Intel. New product called Orange Santa Clara offers a 4-inch display with a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and will run on a processor Intel Atom Z2460 with a frequency of 1.6GHz.

At the time of the sale will be under the new operating system, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but the Orange has promised that soon after the release to release an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Note also that the smartphone offers 8-megapixel camera that can record video in Full HD 1080p and offers fast shooting mode, making up to 10 images per second. In addition, there is support for NFC and mobile wallet.

Price of the device and the date of the sale are still unknown.
