Mercedes boasts a "transparent" machine

Many laboratories are now being developed metamaterials technology to ensure the invisibility due to a negative refractive index. These technologies are still in their infancy, and if the "natural" invisibility yet unattainable, we can use the effects of electronic camouflage, especially for the campaign Mercedes.
In furtherance of its new F-Cell (still a prototype), the company Mercedes has equipped the model system of electronic camouflage. To do this, one side of the machine engineers completely hid a large LED screen, but on the other side of the camera installed, or more precisely, the camera Canon 5D Mark II, launched in movie mode. The image from the camera in real-time broadcast on the screen, which, in turn, shows all that is on the opposite side of the car. The result is a full-transparency effect.
This promotion represents the essence of the new car Mercedes F-Cell, which uses as an energy source, hydrogen fuel cells. The main advantage of this source is its full environmental friendliness, the car is virtually invisible to the environment, so the creators decided to campaign to make the car invisible and literally.
