JUMEIRAH HIMALAYAS HOTEL ***** (SHANGHAI, CHINA)

The hotel opened on April 1, 2011.

The luxurious Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel, located in downtown Shanghai, opened in April 2011. The author of the unusual building, which instantly became a landmark in the city, is a famous Japanese architect Arata Isozaki (Arata Isozaki), designed the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. To create the hotel's interiors specialists worked famous company KCA International, who became famous thanks to its earlier draft of the hotel-sailing in Dubai. The elegant rooms, equipped with a host of technical innovations, designed in warm pastel colors and furnished with beautiful designer furniture of dark wood, the walls decorated with paintings, executed in the typical style of modern China. It offers excellent restaurants offering delicacies of Shanghai, Japanese, Mediterranean and European cuisines. In the Shang-High Cuisine can be enjoyed by national Chinese dishes: braised pork Dongpo, river shrimp, grilled, Cantonese soups.
At the base of the hotel is a new cultural center of the Himalayas Center, which combines modern art museum, a theater with 1100 seats, a shopping center and excellent site for events.

Location: In the center of the Himalayas Centre, in the heart of Pudong business district, opposite the Exhibition Centre Shanghai New International Expo Centre (connected by an underground passage), close to the Aeroexpress Maglev, 35 kilometers from the international airport of Pudong International Airport.

The hotel has 401 rooms, 4 restaurants, bar, indoor pool, gym, SPA-center (opened in October 2011), tai chi, high-speed Internet access, two banquet rooms (up to 800 people), 7 conference rooms (up to 350 people).

Grill Room - Steak house. International cuisine. The concept of an "open kitchen". Located on the 1st floor in the attic. Open daily for lunch from 11:30 to 14:30 and dinner from 17:30 to 22:30.
