Americans have demonstrated a swarm of 20 maneuvers minikopterov

University of Pennsylvania engineers have learned a lot of miniature flying machines to perform complex maneuvers agreed. The spectacular somersault that nanovertolety get up in the air, shots seem a science fiction movie.

Kushleev Alex (Alex Kushleyev), Daniel Mellindzher (Daniel Mellinger) and Vijay Kumar (Vijay Kumar) from the University of Pennsylvania GRASP Laboratory teamed with producer KMel Robotics. Together they have programmed 20 minikopterov and received a small remote-controlled air battalion.

Roy was named Kvadrorotory Nano (Nano Quadrotors). And although the popular console has no bearing on the case, innovation does not take toy cars.

Maneuvering in the air, they are easily arranged in the most intricate shapes is not worse than the habit of Chinese circus performers. For example, in one of the tests minikopteram was given the task to move along the trajectory of eight, with what kvadrorotory coped brilliantly! The devices are also easily overturned in the air and bend around obstacles, being divided into separate groups.

But the scientists, of course, pored over a swarm of robots is not for the sake of entertainment - a concerted action platoon of miniature machines in the future may come in handy on the battlefield, in rescue operations, to monitor how else objects, searching for victims and buildings.

Technical details of the developers have not yet reported. It remains impressive to watch the video of the joint flight of several minikopterov.
