In Japan, created a robot, "Avatar"

Scientists from Japan's Keio University have developed an innovative robotic telemetry Telesar V. The principle of the robot is similar to what was shown in the sci-fi film "Avatar," Cameron Dzheysma. When the operator wears special equipment, Telesar V is exactly repeat his motion.

To control Telesar V requires a special suit, helmet virtual reality and touch gloves. With their help, the operator can see and hear everything going on around him "avatar," writes The Daily Mail.

Highly sensitive sensors embedded in the gloves allow you to "feel" the shape of the surface and its temperature. Freedom of movement of the robot hand is the same as in humans. The creators of Telesar V emphasized that their ultimate goal - "to make you feel as if located elsewhere."

In the future Telesar V can be used for clearance of explosive devices, to participate in disaster and accidents in areas where it is dangerous to be a man.
